Leaving Seattle aboard the ferry. The city skyline looms large and proud. The viaduct in the background is history. In fact much of the waterfront has changed. 

The ferry is a part of life for many commuters. On each ferry ride are tourists. They're the ones looking around and taking seats with front or rear views. It's inevitable, but after so many rides the interest in the sights wanes and travel time is used for shut-eye. It happened to me, eventually.
