Spiders, Spiders everywhere
Spiders, spiders, everywhere
In the garden, and one in your hair
They’re in the bush, and in the leaves
I wish they would stay in the trees
They reproduce so rapid
What’s up with those arachnid
New ones appear every day
And I’m running out of bug spray
A spider means no harm to us
In fact its here for a purpose
Their presence has positive effects
On the population of other insects
They’re construction is a work of art
With brains, lungs, and a beating heart
Their detail leaves me in complete awe
At the end of their legs is a little claw
What a joy these things are
Even when they get in your car
We shouldn’t be in a rush to crush
That punishment is way too much
They have work to do
They don’t complain about you
Should we exterminate
This beneficial invertebrate
So they hang out at your front door
When you come back there’s even more
Let them live and reign supreme
And learn to silence your urge to scream
