Lake Roesiger in Snohomish County

Short visit to Lake Roesiger (pronounced rose-siger) in Snohomish County. Named after Richard Roesiger, an early settler who kept a diary for 30 years and held over 100 acres in the area. His homestead is now a county park located on the east side of the lake.

Humble houses with docks and boathouses ring the lake. There is a convenience store though I never saw it. Addresses here have Snohomish as the city.

At the park, swim at our own risk or fish on the banks. The lake gets stocked. Also at the park are bathrooms, a pavilion and picnic tables right at the water line.

The lake is natural not a reservoir. From the park  there is enough greenspace to take photographs without a house in the picture.

A logging truck passed by with hefty sized timber.

The lake is 27 miles east of my home in Bothell, 7 miles from Lake Stevens, or a short hop from the city of Monroe. The road has gentle curves through the foothills.
